To support the post-secondary education of Waianae High School graduates who exemplify compassion and service for others. Qualifications: Applicants must be Hawaii residents; Applicants must demonstrate financial need; Applicants must have a GPA of 2.0 or above; Applicants must be graduates of Wai'anae High School; Applicants must attend a two or four year college or university. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on compassion and service for others, with preference given to students who are providing care for a household member, assisting teachers, neighbors, or community endeavors, working to support their family's financial needs, or working to fund their own education. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; Letter recommendation; continuing College; current cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA); transcripts should be as recent as possible and should not be a duplicate from a prior year HCF application; supporting documents.
