To support Kapolei resident whose wish was to help the students from the west side of Oahu. Qualifications: Applicants must be residents of the State of Hawaii; must demonstrate financial need; must be in good academic standing or maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0; must be high school seniors or graduates of a West Oahu high school from Waipahu to Makaha; must pursue a degree in nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or education for grades K-12. Selection criteria: Preference will be given to recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if they continue to meet the eligibility requirements and remain in good academic standing. How to apply: Applicants must submit online; must include the applicant's most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required or recommended for specific scholarships; the applicant's current cumulative grade point average (GPA); transcripts should be as recent as possible and should not be a duplicate from a prior HCF application; letters of recommendation are not typically required to submit the applicant's application.
