To support post-secondary scholarships to students pursuing a degree in culinary arts, music or art. Qualifications: Applicants must be a resident of Hawaii Island; must be demonstrate financial need; minimum GPA of 3.0; major in culinary arts, music or art; must attend a school in the United States. Selection criteria: Preference will be given to graduates of Kealakehe or Konawaena High School. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include FAFSA submission summary; most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required; additional documents: letters of recommendation, SAT/ACT scores for high school seniors, verification of organization affiliations, native Hawaiian ancestry verification.
