To support residents of the island of Hawaii who are pursuing degrees in education. Qualifications: Applicants must be resident of the Island of Hawaii; demonstrate financial need; major in Education; be a college senior; be in good academic standing or by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; must attend a school in the United States. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include FAFSA submission summary; most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required; additional documents: letters of recommendation, SAT/ACT scores for high school seniors, verification of organization affiliations, native Hawaiian ancestry verification.
