To provide scholarships to Hawaii residents of Filipino ancestry attending school in Hawaii. Qualifications: Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii who is attending an accredited two- or four-year not for profit institution in Hawaii as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student; must be of Filipino ethnicity; must be majoring in art, humanities, Philippine studies, public relations, or communications; must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria. How to apply: Applicants must submit FAFSA Submission Summary; Applicants must submit most recent unofficial grade transcript; Applicants must submit short essays and/or other required documents; Applicants must log into Scholarship Manager; Applicants must register for an account if a first-time user; Applicants must complete the HCF Common Scholarship Application. Focus: Area and ethnic studies; Arts; Communications; Humanities; Public relations.
