To support students from Oahu who are pursing degrees within the University of Hawaii school system. Qualifications: Applicants must be a resident of Hawaii and a graduating senior from an Oahu high school (public or private); must be attending a University of Hawaii system school, including community colleges; must have a minimum 2.8 GPA and demonstrate financial need; must attend a school in the United States. Selection criteria: Preference will be given to renewal applicants and students intending to major in communications, English, or journalism. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include FAFSA submission summary; most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required; additional documents: letters of recommendation, SAT/ACT scores for high school seniors, verification of organization affiliations, native Hawaiian ancestry verification.
