To support students in Hawaii who are pursuing post-secondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be residents of the State of Hawaii; Applicants must demonstrate financial need; Applicants must be in good academic standing or progress with a minimum GPA of 2.0; Applicants must be Hawaii public high school graduating seniors; Applicants must have a GPA between 3.3 and 3.5; Applicants must intend to major in education; Applicants must attend the University of Hawaii - Manoa; Applicants must be full-time students; Applicants must demonstrate good moral character; Applicants must participate in community service projects or activities. Selection criteria: Preference will be given to prior recipients who continue to meet eligibility requirements and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; Letter recommendation; continuing College; current cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA); transcripts should be as recent as possible and should not be a duplicate from a prior year HCF application; supporting documents.
