To support students in Hawaii who are pursuing nursing degrees. Qualifications: Applicants must be residents of the state of Hawaii; Applicants must be in good academic standing or maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; Applicants must pursue a degree in Nursing; must attend an accredited community college or 4-year college or university; must demonstrate financial need. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee members; Selection will be based on academic standing, financial need, and commitment to nursing. Preference will be given to recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if they continue to meet eligibility requirements and are in good academic standing; additional preference for members of the Hawaii Nurses' Association.
