Qualifications: Applicants must be a resident of the State of Hawaii; preference for renewals who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing; demonstrate financial need; maintain a minimum GPA of 2.7; must attend an accredited, not-for-profit, two-year community college on the island of Hawaii; must be a long-time resident of Hamakua Coast on the island of Hawaii, Zip codes include Honoka'a/Paauhau 96727, Laupahoehoe 96764, Pa'auilo 96776, Ookala 96774, and Papaaloa 96780; must attend a school in the United States. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on Honokaa high school graduate.
