To support Maui County, Hawaii, students pursuing vocational degrees or certificates. Qualifications: Applicants must be a resident of the State of Hawai'i; demonstrate a financial need; be in good academic standing or by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; be a resident of Maui County; enroll in an accredited vocational degree or certificate program in Hawaii or the mainland; preference for recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing for a second academic year; must attend a school in the United States. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee members. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include FAFSA submission summary; most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required; additional documents: letters of recommendation, SAT/ACT scores for high school seniors, verification of organization affiliations, native Hawaiian ancestry verification. Focus: Education, Vocational-technical.
