To provide maximum flexibility to meet the philanthropic goals of our donors and the needs of our community. Qualifications: Applicants must be a resident of the State of Hawai'i; attend an academic or vocational institution in Hawaii; except a University of Hawai'i systems school; maintain a GPA (grade point average) of 2.0 or equivalent; be an dependent of a current employee of the Queen's Health Care System; eligible employee classifications of the Queen's Health Care System: service non-professional workers; clerical support staff; technical and other patient care staff; lower management; must attend a school in the United States. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee criteria; demonstrate financial need; preference for recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include FAFSA submission summary; most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required; additional documents: letters of recommendation, SAT/ACT scores for high school seniors, verification of organization affiliations, native Hawaiian ancestry verification.
