To assist students in Hawaii that are pursuing accounting degrees. Qualifications: Applicants must be residents of the State of Hawai'i; demonstrate financial need; attend an accredited, four-year, not-for-profit institution within the State of Hawai'i as full-time students (as determined by the institution's financial aid office); major in Accounting; be college sophomores or higher; have a minimum 3.0 GPA; be involved in extracurricular activities, organizations, or be employed; preference is given to recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if they continue to meet the eligibility requirements and remain in good academic standing. Selection criteria: Students involved in their school’s accounting club. How to apply: Applicants must be submit nomination form; most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required or recommended for specific scholarships; current cumulative grade point average (gpa); transcripts should be as recent as possible and should not be a duplicate from a prior year hcf application; letters of recommendation (lor) are not typically required to submit Applicants application. Focus: Accounting.
