To assist students pursuing undergraduate degrees in Maui. Qualifications: Applicants must be a resident of the State of Hawai'i; demonstrate financial need; be in a bachelor degree program; undergraduate junior or senior at University of Hawaii Maui College who attended UH-Maui for at least two years, OR an associate degree graduate of University of Hawaii Maui College who is now attending University of Hawaii - Manoa, University of Hawaii - Hilo, University of Hawaii - Maui College, or University of Hawaii - West Oahu; minimum 3.0 GPA; maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA; attend a school in the United States. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee members; preference for recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required or recommended for specific scholarships; current cumulative grade point average (gpa); transcripts should be as recent as possible and should not be a duplicate from a prior year hcf application; letters of recommendation (lor) are not typically required to submit Applicants application.
