To student with high academic achievements, attending a school off island. Qualifications: Applicants must attend a school in the United States; be a resident of the island of Kauai; minimum GPA of 3.5; minimum GPA of 2.7; attend Kauai Community College. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee criteria; demonstrate financial need; preference for recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include FAFSA submission summary; most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required; additional documents: letters of recommendation, SAT/ACT scores for high school seniors, verification of organization affiliations, native Hawaiian ancestry verification; submit two letters of recommendation.
