To support female tennis players in Hawaii who are attending their first year of college. Qualifications: Applicants must be female college freshmen; must be Hawaii residents; must maintain minimum 2.0 GPA; must demonstrate financial need; must be active USTA-HPTA members for at least 4 years with junior tournament participation; must show academic merit and community service involvement. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee members; Selection based on tennis participation history; academic merit; financial need; community service; continued involvement in USTA-HPTA; preference given to well-rounded student-athletes.
