To help students in Hawaii pursue post-secondary education, especially in Native Hawaiian or Hawaiian Studies. Qualifications: Applicants must be in good academic standing or by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; demonstrate financial need; recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to mee the eligibility requirements and is in good standing; donor Selection criteria: Selection will be based on Hawaiian ancestry; major in Hawaiian language, or other fields related to the history, culture and arts of native Hawaiians; two letters of recommendation. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include FAFSA submission summary; most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required; additional documents: letters of recommendation, SAT/ACT scores for high school seniors, verification of organization affiliations, native Hawaiian ancestry verification.
