To provide scholarships for students from Hawai'i (with preference to students from the Island of Hawaii) pursuing higher education in a medical-related field. Qualifications: Applicants must demonstrate financial need; Applicants must be in good academic standing by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; Applicants must be residents of the State of Hawaii; Applicants must pursue an education in a medical-related field. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on financial need and academic standing, with preference given to previous recipients who remain eligible and students from the Island of Hawaii. How to apply: Applicants must submit online; must include the applicant's most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required or recommended for specific scholarships; the applicant's current cumulative grade point average (GPA); transcripts should be as recent as possible and should not be a duplicate from a prior HCF application; letters of recommendation are not typically required to submit the application.
