To recognize outstanding students from Central Oahu and to encourage studies in high technology fields. Qualifications: Applicants must be a resident of the State of Hawai'i; demonstrate financial need; maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA; must attend a school in the United States. Selection criteria: Preference for recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include FAFSA submission summary; most recent unofficial grade transcript; any short essays and/or other documents that may be required; additional documents: letters of recommendation, SAT/ACT scores for high school seniors, verification of organization affiliations, native Hawaiian ancestry verification.
