More than scholarships, GDS is a vibrant and determined community that offers comprehensive support, including career readiness programs, mentorship, and intentional programming, going beyond financial assistance. Scholarship Benefits: Tuition and room and board for up to 4 years at our regional partner colleges; Career readiness support; Mentor and fellowship Qualifications: * To receive the Golden Door Scholarship, all applicants must: * Be graduating/have graduated from high school and reside in one of our regional states: * North Carolina * South Carolina * Georgia * Demonstrate high financial need. * Have graduated or will graduate from a United States high school (or have earned or will earn a high school equivalency diploma). * Have an unweighted high school GPA of 3.2. * Be willing to relocate to and enroll full-time in a bachelors degree program. * Be willing to pursue a major aligned with Golden Door Scholars preferred major list. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee criteria.
