To provide undergraduate scholarships To student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Qualifications: Applicants must be an incoming freshman who is a graduate of a high school in Charlotte-Mecklenburg (public or private school); must be a competitive runner who has been a member of his/her high school track or cross country team(s); must have earned a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at the end of the first semester of senior year; preference given to students who have participated in extracurricular activities and who have been involved in community service. Selection criteria: Selections for the Ben Robinette Scholarship are made by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and are based on information contained in the application for Undergraduate Admissions.
