To support female Canadian students pursuing careers in electrical fields. Qualifications: Applicants must be female undergraduate students in Canada, who are passionate about a career in the Electrical, and related, industries; must be a citizen of Canada or a legal permanent resident, must be a current post-secondary undergraduate student, enrolled in a full-time appropriate field of study (e.g. Electrical Engineering/apprenticeship or Electrical/Electronic Technologist or Technician) at an accredited college or university program; must have competitive grades in their current program and additionally be able to demonstrate leadership and involvement in their community; registered in a full-time current year eligible post-secondary degree or diploma program; must be enrolled in their program and attending school in Fall current year/Winter next year semesters. Selection criteria: Preference will be given to those applicants with a connection to an EFC member company and who are pursuing post-secondary education in a discipline which targets a career in the Electrical industry, such as Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technologist, Electrical Technician, Industrial Distribution, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Management Operations, Logistics and Information Technology.
