To support Canadian students pursuing careers in electrical fields but with a focus on the environment and/or sustainability. Qualifications: Applicants must be an Ontario undergraduate university or college student in either sustainable development, engineering and electronics with a major focus on sustainable development, or environmental studies who has completed their first year of study with a minimum cumulative average of 80%, and who has demonstrated leadership and a commitment to community service; applicants must Canadian citizens or permanent residents who have completed their first year of a recognized university or college in Canada and be registered in a full-time this year eligible post-secondary degree or diploma program; students must be enrolled in their program and attending school in fall this year/Winter next year semesters. Selection criteria: Preference will be given to relatives of Eddy Group Limited employees, its customers and its supplier partners; preference will be given to those applicants with a connection to an EFC member company and who are pursuing post-secondary education in a discipline which targets a career in the electrical industry, such as electrical engineering, electrical technologist, electrical technician, industrial distribution, sales, marketing, finance, human resources, management operations, logistics and information technology.
