To support Canadian students pursuing careers in electrical fields. Qualifications: Applicants must be student who is a Canadian citizen currently enrolled in a Canadian university or community college in business / commerce studies; must be currently enrolled, have completed one year of their studies and maintained a minimum 80% grade average; preference will be given to students who have demonstrated leadership amongst their peers or in their community through participation in community or campus organizations; preference will also be given to students who demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and drive through their course selections and achievements; registered in a full-time current year eligible post-secondary degree or diploma program; must be enrolled in their program and attending school in fall current year /winter next year semesters. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on given to those applicants with a connection to an EFC member company and who are pursuing post-secondary education in a discipline which targets a career in the electrical industry, such as electrical engineering, electrical technologist, electrical technician, industrial distribution, sales, marketing, finance, human resources, management operations, logistics and information technology.
