To support female Canadian students pursuing careers in electrical fields. Qualifications: Applicants must be a female student pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) and who has maintained a minimum cumulative average of 75%; applicants must Canadian citizens or permanent residents who have completed their first year of a recognized university or college in Canada and be registered in a full-time this year eligible post-secondary degree or diploma program; students must be enrolled in their program and attending school in fall this year/winter next year semesters. Selection criteria: Preference will be given to relatives of Eddy Group Limited employees, its customers and its supplier partners; preference will be given to those applicants with a connection to an EFC member company and who are pursuing post-secondary education in a discipline which targets a career in the electrical industry, such as electrical engineering, electrical technologist, electrical technician, industrial distribution, sales, marketing, finance, human resources, management operations, logistics and information technology. How to apply: Applicants must submit online nomination form; should include up to a 500-word essay or up to a 2-minute video explaining why applicants are passionate about pursuing a career in a STEM-related field and how applicants intend to use the award.
