To support Canadian students pursuing careers in electrical fields. Qualifications: Applicants must be students currently attending a post-secondary institute in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan or North West Territories; must have successfully completed at least their first year of study in electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, electrical or mechanical technician, electrical or mechanical engineering, information technology or a business discipline; must have must have demonstrated community service through volunteerism and have achieved a cumulative average of 75%; applicants are Canadian citizens or permanent residents who have completed their first year of a recognized university or college in Canada, have maintained a minimum 75% average and be registered in a full-time current year eligible post-secondary degree or diploma program; must be enrolled in their program and attending school in Fall current year/Winter next year semesters. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on given to those applicants with a connection to an EFC member company and who are pursuing post-secondary education in a discipline which targets a career in the electrical industry, such as electrical engineering, electrical technologist, electrical technician, industrial distribution, sales, marketing, finance, human resources, management operations, logistics and information technology.
