To increase awareness of the Democrats for Life of America (DFLA), to foster and reward respectful dialogue, and to promote and reward original and creative thinking. Qualifications: Applicants must be between the ages of 17-26; must be U.S. citizens or DACA recipients; must be pursuing or planning to pursue postsecondary education on a full-time basis. Selection criteria: Essays will be judged on originality, creativity, and feasibility of thoughts and ideas, along with acknowledgement of alternative perspectives, and use of proper grammar and spelling.
