To supporting students pursuing a career in the manufacturing industry. Qualifications: Applicants must be currently reside in Boone, Ogle, Stephenson, Winnebago, or Rock County; demonstrate how their coursework will impact manufacturing technology in the region; must be non-traditional, minority, and first-generation college students. Selection criteria: Applications are read and scored by committees of volunteers who use a blind review process and make recommendations to CFNIL's board of trustees; based on various factors: community engagement; academic achievement; financial need; athletic participation; field of study.
