To supporting students pursuing a career in the theater. Qualifications: Applicants must be currently reside in Boone or Winnebago County; intend to enroll at an accredited four-year college or university to obtain an MA or BA; intend to teach theater or work professionally as a performer or technician in theater; must be non-traditional, minority, and first-generation college students. Selection criteria: Applications are read and scored by committees of volunteers who use a blind review process and make recommendations to CFNIL's board of trustees; based on various factors: community engagement; academic achievement; financial need; athletic participation; field of study; academic performance will be given high priority consideration in the selection process.
