To supporting Guilford swimmers and divers who exemplify strength and discipline. Qualifications: Applicants must be non-traditional, minority, and first-generation college students; applicants must be a graduating senior at Guilford High School; have been on the Guilford swimming and/or diving team for at least three years, including their senior year; exhibit character traits of strength, discipline, leadership, teamwork, and loyalty; demonstrate financial need. Selection criteria: Applications are read and scored by committees of volunteers who use a "blind" review process and make recommendations to CFNIL's board of trustees; based on various factors: community engagement; academic achievement; financial need; athletic participation; field of study.
