To support students pursuing agricultural education in Wisconsin. Qualifications: Applicants must be a Marathon County, WI, resident or a student currently attending a school within Marathon County (including the Agricultural Center of Excellence through Northcentral Technical College); must be planning to pursue a degree program, short course, or continuing education program within the University of Wisconsin or Wisconsin Technical College System in the upcoming school year; must demonstrate the potential for success in the agricultural industry (as indicated by past record, test data, and other supplemental information). Selection criteria: Selection will be based on criteria include: potential for success in chosen agricultural field of study; commitment to the agricultural industry, especially in Marathon County; relative educational achievements; good character, citizenship, and leadership; and financial need. How to apply: Applications must include transcript of most recent grades, list of extracurricular activities (downloadable form online), and two references. Applications must be completed through online portal. Focus: Agribusiness; Agricultural sciences; Biochemistry; Environmental science; Food science and technology; Horticulture; Landscape architecture and design.
