To recognize and reward a student from Wausau Conservatory of Music who plans to attend a college or university. Qualifications: Applicants must be current student in voice at the Wausau Conservatory of Music; must have studied at least two (2) semesters of voice at the WCM at the time of the competition - including the current semester; student must have the approval of current voice teacher to participate; applicant must plan to attend an accredited college or university within six (6) months of the competition; must intend to study private voice for at least two consecutive semesters in college or be a member of the college's vocal choir for two consecutive semesters. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the executive director of WCM. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; required repertoire will include three (3) memorized pieces which best display the singer’s vocal talent; the solo ensemble list or the Thurow suggested list are good resources; pieces must be accompanied by piano.
