To provide financial support to Marathon County graduating seniors who needed special reading or speech instruction during K-12 education. Qualifications: Applicants must be a graduating senior from marathon county, WI, wo has received special reading and/or speech instruction during their k-12 schooling; must be planning to pursue a postsecondary education at a technical school, college, or university, or technical school in any field of study. Selection criteria: Selection will be evaluated, based on: how the student has overcome their speech and/or reading challenges; demonstration of community service and involvement; financial need will be taken into consideration. How to apply: Applications must include transcript of most recent grades, list of extracurricular activities, and two references (one from a counselor verifying applicant's educational history with reading and/or speech classes); Applications must be completed through online portal.
