To support Wisconsin residents pursuing flight school programs. Qualifications: Applicants must be plan to pursue an education in the aviation/aerospace field; be a resident of Wisconsin for at least two years; demonstrate a passion for a career in the aviation/aerospace field; be active in community and extracurricular activities; have a minimum 3.0 GPA; Baum/Quinn: Preference is given to applicants enrolled in an aviation business management program or flight school program; Thiessen Field: Restricted to students enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, an aviation program at an institution of higher education in Wisconsin or the surrounding region - including mechanics. financial need is a factor and applicants are asked to address that in the application. GPA and community service are not deciding factors in the review process and should not be deterrents for individuals planning to apply; Julson: Open to any student students enrolled in the Madison Area Technical College/Wisconsin Aviation flight school program or the Buffalo, WY or Sheridan, WY flight school program. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria.
