To support graduating high school seniors in the greater Wausau area (at schools located within a 10-mile radius of Wausau City Hall) who wish to pursue postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from a public or private high school within a 10-mile radius of Wausau City Hall; must be planning to pursue an education at a trade/technical school, college, or university; must be pursuing a degree in education, health, or commerce. Selection criteria: Selection criteria include academics, financial need, and interest and ability to succeed in chosen field. How to apply: Application must include transcript of most recent grades, list of extracurricular activities (downloadable form online), and two references. Application must be completed through online portal. Focus: Business; Education; Health sciences.
