To help students from a particular school or area, students pursuing a specific field of study, students with significant financial need and many other qualifications. Qualifications: Applicants must be a deserving senior graduating from Avery County High School, North Carolina, wishing to learn to “nurture nature” by attending a two- or four-year college to study horticulture or agriculture; student should have at least a 2.5 grade point average in high school. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee appointed by the Board of CFMT.
