To provide scholarships for students primarily entering the field of teaching. Qualifications: Applicant must have a high school diploma from a public, private, parochial, or online school, or a GED; must attend or plan to attend an accredited postsecondary institution in the United States during the upcoming academic year on a full-time basis; must maintain a permanent address with the Foundation's service area (Illinois counties of DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, LaSalle, and Will). Selection criteria: Preference given to applicants pursuing careers in teaching. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; grade Transcripts; SAT and ACT test scores; student aid Index (SAI) number from a processed free application for federal student aid (FAFSA); email addresses of individuals from whom applicants will request a recommendation.
