To support local graduates who plan to pursue postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must complete their high school education during, at the conclusion of, or prior to the current academic year as follows; high school diploma from a public, private, parochial, or online school Home-Schooled High School Education General Educational Development (GED) certificate or state certificate; must be planning to attend an accredited postsecondary institution within the United States of America on a full-time basis; must maintain a permanent address with the Foundation's service area (Illinois counties of DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, LaSalle, and Will). Selection criteria: Preference for graduates of East Aurora or West Aurora High School and those attending or planning to attend a Lutheran-affiliated college or university. How to apply: Applicants must complete the application through the online portal. Transcripts, SAT and ACT scores (if available), SAI number from FAFSA (if available) and email address of individuals who will supply recommendations are required.
