To provide scholarships to local students pursuing undergraduate degrees. Qualifications: Applicants must be this scholarship is available to graduating seniors of SD 129, SD 131, SD 302. GED recipients that attended high school in one of the above school districts or non-traditional students in undergraduate program that is going back to school and graduated from one of the above school district high schools are also eligible; complete their high school education during, at the conclusion of, or prior to the current academic year as follows; high school diploma from a public, private, parochial, or online school; home-schooled high school education general educational development (GED) certificate or state certificate; applicants must attend an accredited post-secondary institution within the united states of America during the upcoming academic year; applicants must pursue studies (career/technical/vocational, undergraduate, graduate, etc.) on a full-time basis during the upcoming academic year; applicants must maintain a permanent address located within the community foundation scholarship program service area (a few exceptions apply); service area includes the following areas within the State of Illinois: (Illinois counties of DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, LaSalle, and Will). Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria.
