To honor Reverend Bennett’s outstanding record of community service. Qualifications: Applicants must be a graduating senior from high schools in CBCF seven-county area; be in top 10% of graduating class; enroll full-time at Del Mar College, TAMUCC or TAMUK; must establish financial need; Scholarships are available for high school graduates attending 2 and 4 year colleges and universities as well as accredited vocational schools. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee and recipients are selected based on the availability of funds and the competitiveness of the applicant pool for each scholarship. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online form application; a brief description of how the influence of an individual or an experience has shaped these plans; applicants will need the following documents; current official transcript PDF; one letter of recommendation; two essays.
