To provide educational assistance to students who are seeking a bachelor's degree in building construction. Qualifications: Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or current college student planning to or currently pursuing a bachelor of science degree in building construction; have permanent residence in the area served by the South Texas Chapter of Associated General Contractors (22 counties); attend any accredited four year college or university; only to students who graduated from a high school in one of the counties in the CBCF Service Area: Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces, Refugio and San Patricio. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee criteria; selected based on the availability of funds and the competitiveness of the applicant pool for each scholarship.
