To provide encouragement to who wish to pursue a graduate degree or credential and to provide fiscal support for books, tuition or general costs of advanced education. Qualifications: Applicants must be a current CAAEYC member in good standing with a demonstrated financial need; current enrollment in an accredited academic degree program in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is required; must also have a record of service or contribution to AEYC at the Local Chapter or State Affiliate level. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's criteria; recommendations will be submitted to the CAAEYC Board of Directors for consideration. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; should include proof of current enrollment from the academic institution; personal statement to the CAAEYC Board of Directors describing academic goals and progress, including a statement of financial need; two letters of recommendation: one letter must be from a Board member at the Local Chapter or State Affiliate level indicating the applicant’s contributions to AEYC and one letter from a college instructor.
