To provide an graduating seniors of Duluth high schools who show academic excellence, high character, leadership and promise to contribute to their communities. Qualifications: Applicants must be a high school seniors graduating from Duluth schools, including home schools; must show high academic performance, with each school identifying students who qualify and providing an application code through their counselors; must be seeking admission to an accredited, degree-granting, four-year college or university and must provide a transcript that includes their fall grades; applicants are required to demonstrate good character; applicants may be eligible if live in northeast Minnesota or northwest Wisconsin; must planning to attend a college, university, community or technical college, or trade school; must meet criteria related to applicants academic interests, school, or community involvement.
