To recognize academic achievements of the top two graduates each year at Cook County High School in Grand Marais. Qualifications: Applicants must live in northeast Minnesota or northwest Wisconsin; are planning to attend a college, university, community or technical college, or trade school. Selection criteria: Awarded automatically to the valedictorian and the salutatorian at Cook County High. How to apply: Applicants must submit an online application form; personal email address, not a school email address, to establish the applicant’s scholarship profile; applications will require the applicant’s GPA and high school transcript or transcript/grades to date; submit recommendation letters or forms from teachers and others who know the applicant.
