To provide financial assistance to the non-traditional students who are in financial need. Qualifications: Applicants must be in the last half of an undergraduate associate's or bachelor's degree at the University of Minnesota Duluth, the College of St. Scholastica or Lake Superior College and be a primary caregiver to one or more children; at least 22 years old and single head of household; primary care-giver to one or more children under the age of 18 Completed 50% of course instruction at time of award. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on their academic interest and high school or area of residence. How to apply: Applicants must submit an online application form; provide a personal email address, not a school email address, to establish their scholarship profile; applications will require the applicant’s GPA and high school transcript or current transcript/grades; and submission of recommendation letters or forms from teachers and others familiar with the applicant.
