To recognize the life and career of University of Wisconsin-Superior alum Emile Mathis and supports the education of future generations of UWS artists. Qualifications: Applicants must be graduates of any high school within the DSACF service area, homeschool, or hold a GED; they must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the visual arts department at the University of Wisconsin-superior and demonstrate financial need; live in northeast Minnesota or northwest Wisconsin. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on criteria related to the applicant's academic interests, school, or community involvement.
