To assist students with financial need, who have experienced adversity and who plan to attend the University of Minnesota Duluth. Qualifications: Applicants must be graduates of any high school within the DSACF service area or have a GED; must be attending the University of Minnesota Duluth, demonstrate life challenges and experiences, and demonstrate financial need; applicants may be eligible if live in northeast Minnesota or northwest Wisconsin; must planning to attend a college, university, community or technical college, or trade school; must meet criteria related to applicants academic interests, school, or community involvement. Selection criteria: Applicants are evaluated based on financial need, academic record, written recommendations, and seriousness of purpose.
