To support student who are from a sole parent family or who are single parents themselves and are enrolled a full-time Nursing program. Qualifications: Applicants must be a black student who is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person (or have applied for permanent residency or a student/work visa); be enrolled in an accredited educational institution; who are enrolled or are planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program at a Canadian college or university; be between 17 - 30 years old at the start of the academic year. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committee criteria; selection is made considering academic record, financial need, and personal statement.
