To provide financial support to students who have the license for post-secondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be an active, FCC-licensed amateur radio operators; active foreign amateur radio operators are eligible for the ARDC scholarships; GPA: 2.0+; must be holding an amateur radio license; citizenship: United States and all other countries; grade level: H.S. senior, undergrad, graduate; active Novice Class Amateur Radio License or higher; resident of NC, VA, WV, MD or TN; studies toward a bachelor of science degree in any field of engineering; accredited 4-year college or university in NC, VA, WV, MD or TN; must be financial need. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on the committees criteria. How to apply: Applicants must be submit online application form; transcripts and any additional required documents; a letter of recommendation from a sitting officer of an ARRL-affiliated club; if their are currently in high school their are required copy of the FAFSA (if available); transcripts must cover their entire high school career to date and, if in college, must include all semesters for which grades have been awarded. Focus: Engineering; Radio and television.
