To support licensed amateur radio operators pursuing postsecondary education. Qualifications: Applicants must be an active, FCC-licensed amateur radio operators; must have GPA: 2.0+; must have citizenship in United States or all other countries; must have grade level: H.S. senior, undergraduate, graduate; must have active technician class or higher license; must enroll in international studies; must enroll in accredited post-secondary institution; must have academic merit, financial need and interest in promoting amateur radio. Selection criteria: Selection will be based on committee criteria; preference to an ARRL member; preference to baccalaureate or higher degree candidate; preference to an ARRL member; preference to baccalaureate or higher degree candidates. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application; should include: transcripts and any additional required documents must be submitted with the application and not emailed separately; a number of scholarships require additional documents, such as a letter of recommendation from a sitting officer of an ARRL-affiliated club; applications without accompanying transcripts and additional required documents (if applicable) will not be considered; for letters of recommendation, an email will be sent to them when applicants enter their information on the application; if applicants are currently in high school applicants are required to upload a copy of the FAFSA (if available) with applicants scholarship application.
