To provide students pursuing a bachelor’s or associate degree in welding or a related discipline. Qualifications: Applicants must be a member of AWS; must be currently enrolled in vocational schools, technical colleges, community colleges, or universities. Selection criteria: Recipients are selected based on need. Priority will be given to individuals who demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career with an industrial gas or welding equipment distributor with prior to work experience, clubs, organizations, or extracurricular activities. For individuals residing or attending schools in the states of Alabama, Georgia and Florida are also given preference. Selection will be based on Education Scholarship Committee. How to apply: Applicants must submit online application form; Two letters of recommendations are required; applicant must have an official transcript set my email or mail directly from the school or third-party transcript provider; The SAR must be submitted in addition to cost of attendance documentation to be eligible for these scholarships.
